My Destiny, Passion and FutureWhen I was seven years old, the Lord told me that I was destined for great things. As of recent the Lord is revealing to me what that looks like and more so recently in this past week at The Awakening.
Thailand changed my life. The women in the bars I met broke my heart and if that wasn't enough Yor shattered my already broken heart into million other pieces. I am still wrecked over my experience in Thailand and am passionate about helping these women out of human trafficking and prostitution. I have always loved the idea of buying something and it going toward a good cause. I love the idea of Tom's shoes, Timbali crafts, fair trade coffee, etc. When I was in Thailand, God began giving me visions of shoes. And by shoes I mean fabulous stilettos. Erin showed me pictures of some of the shoes she had taken and many of them were some of the same shoes I had dreamed about. I asked the Lord to tell me what this all meant. I was called to fast for my future. In this fast, the Lord spoke to me about my future and my passions. It was amazing.
God is calling me to start a fabulous stiletto line and the proceeds going to women in human trafficking. It eventually will be many types of shoes that appeal to everyone. This company will provide alternate lines of employment. It will be a center for women to find confidence in each other who have gone through the same struggles. It will be a center for women to gain their confidence in themselves but ultimately in the Lord. The name will be called ********. It will means what I struggled with, what I fought for, what I won. These women in human trafficking are struggling with this lifestyle. They are fighting for a better lifestyle for their loved ones and family. They are my struggle, this is what I am fighting for and together with God's grace, love and mercy...WE WILL OVERCOME!
So this is just the beginning stages of it. During the Awakening, the Lord told me to step out in faith and verbally say my dream aloud... to no longer hold it in. I shared my dream and passion with Adventures in Missions founder, Seth Barnes during his session "Kingdom Dreams." The very words I spoke surprised me and blew me away. The Lord revealed to me that this is going to be something way bigger than I have ever imagined. While in session, I met others whose dreams were similar. Auston Copeland has a vision to be a distributor of fair trade goods almost like a large department store where all the goods go toward a greater cause. In conversation he asked if I thought about designing a higher priced line for celebrities and those with a bit more money. I never did until that moment. One of the reasons why I wanted to be an entertainment reporter was because I have always wanted to minister to celebrities. They need love too. On the last day of Awakening during morning praise and worship session, I asked the Lord if I actually would be getting everything and more that I have ever desired in my life. I wept after hearing the Lord's voice and I wept because again... Who am I to deserve such great things? What did I do to deserve this life? I am a Woman of God. I am HIS Daughter. I am a Mighty Warrior. The Lord gave me a Loud, Bold and Fighting Spirit. I am woman filled with his passion. I am and going to be a Voice to the Voiceless. My chains have been broken to set others free. I will be of comfort to my sisters. I will speak life into them and help them find their identity in the Lord the same way I have found mine this year. So what's next?
G42 Academy. G42 is a leadership and discipleship academy that will help me carry out the visions and dreams that the Lord has given me and help me make them a reality. "The
42nd generation is a network of Christ-followers with the mission to
plant churches, businesses, & ministries to spread the Kingdom of
God around the world-to inspire and develop leaders & radicals who
are passionate about laying their lives down for Christ." I will begin my 6-month training in Mijas, Spain with other wild and crazy men who have visions, dreams and passions from the lord that will glorify his kingdom here on earth.
His passion has become my passion. His dream has become my dream. God is all over this. I desire his will for my life. This is what I am destined for.
